Ortronics erhält Zertifizierung für Kupfer- und Fiber-Channel in Italien
(ddp direct) Ortronics begann bereits im Jahr 2003, mit dem Institut erste Zertifizierungstests für Kupfer- und Glasfaser-Channel-Komponenten durchzuführen. Die Tests umfassten die Ortronics(R) Clarity(R)-Kupfer-Channel-Lösungen der Kategorien 5e, 6 und 6a U-UTP und F-UTP sowie Glasfaserlösungen mit Multimode 62.5/125 OM1, 50/125 OM2-OM3-OM4 und Single-Mode OS1 und OS2. Alle diese Channel wurden von dem ISCTI/ISCOM unter Beachtung der Standards ISO / IEC 11801 und CEI EN 50173-1 zertifiziert.
Der internationale Standard ISO/IEC 11801 und der europäische Standard CEI EN 50173-1 spezifizieren Kupfer- und glasfaserstrukturierte Verkabelungssysteme, die für die allgemeine Nutzung in einer Vielzahl von Anwendungsbereichen einsetzbar sind. Hierzu zählen Voice-, Video- und Datendienste sowie Automatisierungssysteme für Gebäude und Fabrikanlagen. Die Standards gelten für gewerbliche Einrichtungen mit einem oder mehreren Gebäuden an einem Standort und idealerweise 50 bis 50.000 Mitarbeitern.
